ABOUT CASA DULAC

A picturesque little village along the Catalan coast, el Roc de Sant Gaietà is a charming spot that will delight young and less young alike.
Quieter in June and September, and more lively in July and August, it's a delight for anyone wanting to spend their holidays in a welcoming, family-friendly setting.

Casa Dulac is located in the heart of the village, above the restaurant Bar Roc. It's a small, simple but well-equipped Catalan-style flat on the second floor of Casa 2. The staircase is easy, but unfortunately does not allow access for the less mobile. The village is pedestrianised, so you have to leave your car in the car park at the entrance to the village.

The flat consists of:
-
one bedroom with two single beds, equipped with a ceiling fan;
-
living room;
-
bathroom with shower and toilet;
-
small kitchen with washing machine (no dishwasher);
-
possibility of adding a third bed.

On the roof there is an indoor and outdoor area for drying clothes or storing beach toys; paddle; etc.
The village is a family village. The various restaurants close after a certain time and are not allowed to play music (a night watchman is on duty to keep things quiet after midnight). The most emblematic restaurant is Cal Sisquet with its magnificent view, as well as its ice cream shop (sub-champion of the world for ice cream in 2016). The ice creams are well worth the visit.

You can hire a paillote (straw parasol) on the Pallisseta beach (at the Roc administration office); and there's a surf club on the Punta d'en Guineu beach with paddles for hire, surf/paddle lessons, kayaks, etc. During the summer months, there are also activities for children at the port of Roda de Bara (5 minutes' walk from el Roc).
